A few verses earlier, this jailer was about to commit suicide because he thought Paul had escaped. Paul comforted him (as a prisoner) and led him to Christ and instead of a tragedy happening... the jailer found joy, purpose and peace! It's incredible the impact Jesus can have when we allow His word to guide our lives... Unfortunately it's devastating the more we push as a society to keep Him out. How much better has our life become as a nation since we have pushed to keep God out of the workplace, sports, and the classroom?!? We don't need more rules to shape us into what the government wants us to be and keep God out... we need to stand up and allow God in! My heart and prayers (YES PRAYERS!) go out to the families of those who were injured and killed yesterday in the Florida shooting... This is when we need to turn to God and lean on Him. Be bold in your faith and have a blessed day!
