We must all step up to help those in need not the greedy but the needy!

I enjoy working with children of all ages, individuals, and families to help them acquire skills they need, to improve their life struggles and to help them move forward to reach their goals.
Today I went to the store to get the rest of the stuff that I needed to fix a lunch for the homeless in my community. As I was leaving I saw an older women walking down the street crying and dragging a dirty blanket with no shoes on. So I went around the block to catch up to her and offer her a clean blanket and other items that she may need. I keep them my car and I wanted to help her if I could. I found her and ask her if she would like a clean blanket and some shoes. She said yes and asked for food. I told her that I didn’t have any food but tomorrow I would. Then I remembered that I had fruit in my car so I gave her some. Then I gave her two clean heavy blankets, shoes & socks, a wool hat, rain coat, pants & shirt, she kept crying and thanking me as she praised God for sending me. I started to cry because she was so happy as I gave her the items. I had a large shopping cart in the back of my car so I gave her that to carry the items in. She was shouting and crying and told me that it was just what she needed and she was glad that God sent me to help her. I kept crying and then I asked her where would she be tomorrow and she said by the building access the street.? So I said that I would bring her a lunch. She said that she would love that and she would look for me. She said she wanted to find safe place to sleep. She pushed the cart down the street and kept crying as she moved on.
I went to my car and just kept crying because I couldn’t offer her that. I can’t stand seeing so many people suffering outside on the street, especially seniors and in need of so many things. The police take their things and put them the garbage. So they can’t keep the few things that they have for too long. The programs that are paid to help them don’t really do that at all. They don’t wash their things, give them clothes, sleeping blankets, good food and other items that they need. I know because I started a homeless task force and I visited all the programs in my area. I saw how they lie and refuse to give them the help that they need. It is criminal how they treat these people especially with the money that they get! America is suffering because of this behavior and will continue to do so until we really do much more to help our own people that are suffering right here in America! I left the program that I started because when we got money to help the homeless the members decided to give themselves salaries. It was to be a volunteer program and I wanted money for a portable shows and bathrooms not salaries for the volunteer. People are much to greedy so those that need help never get it!

It only takes one person to decide to help and give clean items that you don’t need, make a lunch a few times a week or just give them toilet paper, wash clothes, soap, deodorant and other items from the dollar store. All of these things help and give them hope. They are human beings that need our help due too many different circumstances.? ? ?
