At Goovinn , we always strive to live as we learn. And now, we have an environmental certification. This is a decision that has emerged from two goal-oriented directions: the culture of our company and the future of our customers. So, what does this new development mean? We sat down with Viktoria Sandstr?m – a fellow Goovinnare, who has been a leading driving force in this development.?

Viktoria, what can you tell us about this environmental certification?

Deep down, I would say that the decision stems from Goovinns culture and values. As Goovinnare, we are active and environmentally aware individuals that love spending time outdoors. But it is also a business decision; we find ourselves in a world where the environment and climate change are the biggest issues of our time. Being sustainable is something that drives and shapes the world in general, and innovation in particular. So, in several ways, becoming environmentally certified is a new but natural step for us where we live as we learn and take greater responsibility for the future.

How will this new development affect Goovinn's customers?

In short, they can feel safe knowing that they are working together with a sustainable partner. Our environmental diploma means that we systematically and continuously work to improve our operations and reduce our environmental impact as a company. Our customers can rely on us to take a holistic approach to our own impact. And thanks to our competence in areas such as circular business models, servitization and the role of digitization in sustainable business development, our customers truly get the help they need to make their operations, products, and services more sustainable. In short, we are convinced that our certification makes us a stronger partner in the market.

Speaking of the diploma, can you share some more specifics about the certification?

Absolutely! Well, we are certified according to the environmental management standard from the Swedish Environmental Base. This means that we have an environmental management system that is based on the requirements of ISO 14001, where we describe how we constantly improve and reduce our environmental impact. As Goovinnare, we:

? Follow the environment requirements and regulations that affect our operations

? Continuously train our staff in environmental thinking and sustainability?

? Annually map all environmental impacts and aspects related to our operations

? Annually define environmental goals, key figures as well as action plans and measures to improve our operations within the environment and sustainability

? Undergo an external audit annually to ensure that we live up to the requirements of the environmental management standard Swedish Environmental Base

? Work with continuous improvements to reduce the climate impact from our operations. For instance, by encouraging employees to choose climate-smart transport, only select environmentally aware suppliers, and to choose environmentally friendly products and services in our purchases
