Database Engineer

We are looking for a qualified Database Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this position, you will be responsible for coordinating and executing complex activities related to DBE/DBA support and development of critical business applications. You will be an integral part of ensuring the smooth operation and performance of our database systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Utilize your expertise in SQL Server administration, management, and performance tuning to optimize database performance.
  • Effectively manage competing priorities and find solutions using your experience, judgment, and knowledge.
  • Administer and configure relational databases (Oracle & Microsoft SQL) as a DBA/DBE, ensuring data integrity and security.
  • Collaborate on IT projects and contribute your valuable technical expertise to enhance our systems.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related technical field is essential.
  • A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience administering and configuring relational databases (Oracle & Microsoft SQL) as a DBA/DBE is required.
  • In-depth knowledge of TSQL and SQL/PL development is crucial for effective database programming.
  • Prior experience in administering and configuring Microsoft server operating systems is a plus.
  • The ability to apply your knowledge of information systems in a practical setting is essential.
  • Strong communication skills, particularly the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly and concisely, are paramount.
  • Fluency in English (Upper-Intermediate level) and Russian is required.

  • A certificate of excellence related to Oracle or Microsoft SQL database administration is a valuable asset.

ITSM Service Desk Specialist (Dispatcher)

We are looking for a skilled ITSM Service Desk Specialist (Dispatcher) to join our dynamic team. In this position, you will be responsible for user support and troubleshooting in ITSM Service Desk systems, handling a high volume of requests efficiently and effectively.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Provide user support and troubleshooting, managing not less than 2500 requests per month in ITSM Service Desk systems, preferably ManageEngine Service Desk Plus.

Experience & Education:

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience working as a call center operator or dispatcher is required.
  • Experience in the allocation, categorization, and prioritization of incoming IT requests is essential.

Skills & Abilities:

  • Knowledge of typical IT services, including desktop support, software delivery, digital communications, enterprise infrastructure and applications, and service desk operations.
  • Understanding of the IT services management model based on ITSM methodology in accordance with ITIL or COBIT recommendations.
  • Advanced knowledge of information technologies, computer and office equipment, and software.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Fluency in English (Upper-Intermediate level) and Russian is required.

Certificates:

  • ITIL Foundation certification is required.
  • COBIT 5 Foundation certification is optional but considered a valuable asset.
