JOB OVERVIEW AND RESPONSIBILITY

What you’ll do:

–?Work closely with engineering and #devopsengineer teams to design, implement, deploy, and configuration management of our various production and test environments

–?Operate, monitor and maintain Linux systems and services

–?Responsive for Data Center, Cloud and CDN operations and administration.

–?Deploy and maintain software across multiple data centers

–?Support development operations as part of an Agile team

–?Automation and scripting for deployment procedures

–?Provide technical approach on complex projects

–?Perform proactive IT & deployment tasks

–?Identify, troubleshoot, and respond to faults of complex systems in large-scale production environment

–?On-call support for production environments

–?24/7 Responsibility for system uptime

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Basic requirements:

–?Experience developing engineering applications for a large corporation

–?Experience with on premise and cloud application deployment on AWS

–?Manage CI/CD tools (Jenkins Pipeline) with teams.

–?Version Control: Git

–?At least 4 years of #Linux experience

–?Virtualization systems

–?Experience with Kubernetes (on Premises and Cloud), Docker

–?Proven knowledge in scripting languages: Bash, Python

–?Configuration management experience with tools like Puppet, Ansible, Chef

–?Deployment automation/orchestration – Foreman, Cobbler, Ansible

–?Troubleshooting experience in complex production environments

Preferred:

–?Experience with #Linux_OS – CentOS, RedHat

–?Experience with Big Data systems- Scylla DB, Elasticsearch and Couchbase

–?Experience with monitoring tools like Nagios, Zabbix, Grafana, Graphite, Prometheus

–?VMWare vSphere and vCenter experience

–?Experience with Cloud Infrastructure like AWS, Azure, GCP

–?Understanding of the Internet backbone networking and familiarity with CDN vendors

–?Knowledge in Apache/Apache traffic server/HAProxy
