Job Summary

As a DevOps Engineer at Abstract-Technology, you will play a key role in integrating and managing operational and development processes, ensuring the efficiency and reliability of our Open edX LMS software solutions. You'll work in multidisciplinary teams to optimize the software lifecycle, implementing best practices for Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD).

What You'll Do

• Cloud and Containerization:?Work with cloud-native environments and containers (Docker, Kubernetes).
• CI/CD Automation:?Utilize tools like Jenkins and GitLab CI/CD for automated builds, testing, and deployment.
• Monitoring and Logging:?Configure tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and the other solutions for monitoring and log management.
• Collaboration and Problem Solving:?Partner with development teams to optimize deployments and scalability.

Your Technical Skills

• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, APMs such as New Relic and CI/CD solutions.
• Knowledge of infrastructure management tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
• Experience with Linux systems administration and NixOS.
• Experience with databases: MySQL, MongoDB, PostgreSQL.
• Experience with major cloud providers (Hetzner, Azure, AWS).
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
