A common mistake among candidates during recruitment is not updating their CVs and LinkedIn profiles. Update your CV to match your current status.
?Blow Your Trumpet:?Nobody will see you when you don't communicate what you do. Network, attend events and communicate clearly what you do and the value you have to offer. Think value and scream the value you possess.

In my quest to ensure you stay updated, I asked Google what is the biggest HR Trend in 2023 and Google said we are all moving to planet metaverse.
According to Gartner, 25% of people will spend at least one hour daily in the metaverse by 2026.
The Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) describes the Metaverse as an alternate reality online that blurs the lines between the physical and digital environments.
The Metaverse for HR has the potential to be used for virtual meetings, recruiting and hiring interviews, onboarding, employee engagement, and learning and development.
The metaverse makes it possible to reimagine a creative, collaborative, and productive world without being restricted by physical conventions.
Although there are possible implications for this technology, the metaverse is coming and we as HR professionals need to pack our bags and get ready by skilling up for the new age that is coming.
