If we know one thing about drama, it is that it leads to excuses.

Drama keeps us from moving forward and is propelled by fear and negative emotion. Negative emotion is the source of victimhood, blaming others, or codependency--all of which form the perfect excuses that keep you from reaching the goals you have for your life.
Sometimes, making an excuse is actually easier than the action you need to take in your business or personal life. Progress can be scary, particularly when paired with negative emotions like anxiety and trepidation. We are not emotionless robots, so instead of fighting the feelings we have, we must encounter them head on. Why do we feel the way that we do and how can we deal with these feelings? If we stuff our emotions down and don’t learn how to deal with them, they will erupt at the worst possible time...and often onto other people.
What are your excuses and what emotions are fueling them? Check out this quick video that walks you through our excuse buster here and take the first step to excuse-free living.
