We Are We...

For years I have been corrected by friends (whom I adore) about my use of “we”. Their almost programmed seeming understanding is somehow there is a natural state of being that is not “we” that somehow individuals can be separate from the infinite all. Usually, a little sheepishly, I go along and pretend to relate to their point when it really doesn’t resonate with me at my core. Finally, it became clear enough to me why I could not explain my feelings of confusion when these corrections were made; it really shouldn’t have taken me this long to reach this conclusion, but here it it is, now...

If you believe in LOVE Absolute, oneness, source awareness, unified consciousness the ultimate truth of everything and nothing, of the nothing that is everything, of the everything that is nothing. The truth which words are incapable of defining or describing, then one must also accept the fact there is no you or me, or we to be absolutely correct. But for the purpose of this point, agreeing that everything is only one whole thing, innately infinitely connected, then “we” is exactly the word “we” should use when conversing or discussing any part or aspect of the illusion of which “we”are a part of and are. Anything else appears to me, to be only ego screaming for attention, for notice, for credit, for the impossible separation from the undeniable whole.

And it is that ego need for separation, individual identification that is at the core of this story’s perfect divine madness, and it also why it took me so long to unwrap my heart from the web of confusion that engulfed it each time the correction of my use of the word “we” occurred, as I have grown to accept my innate wholeness with LOVE Absolute over my ego's vocal protest that confused my mind, but not my the quiet certainty of my pure heart, where "we" infinitely resides...
