Are We Keeping Up with Technology – Or Just Trying to Survive?

We all (or let’s say 99% of us ??) love technology. It brings us convenience, speed, and that irresistible rush of excitement every time we learn something new. But let’s be honest—technology can also feel overwhelming, right? The world of digital innovation moves at lightning speed, and for many of us, it’s more about survival than joy.

Here’s the reality: There’s no JOMO (Joy of Missing Out) when it comes to tech. It’s full-on FOMO. Whether it’s the new functionalities popping up at work, the online governmental tasks that require yet another login, or the ever-changing communication tools we need to master—keeping up can feel like a full-time job. And let’s not even get started on AI…??

As humans, we’re getting hit with a lot of technological punches. But to thrive in today’s world, we need to stay vital, adaptable, and forward-thinking. This isn’t just about staying relevant at work—it’s about maintaining our well-being in an increasingly digital world.

That’s why I’m launching a series focused on Individual Digital Capabilities (IDC)—a holistic approach to thriving in the digital age. Over the next few weeks, I’ll explore key dimensions like Adaptability, Communication, Creativity, and more. My goal is to provide practical tips and insights to help us all navigate this ever-evolving landscape with confidence and ease.

Stay tuned, and let’s take this journey together!

You make a very good point. I think taking break from digital is important to stay sane.
