We have changed the form of corporate gifts in the Czech Republic, says Klára Dohnalová, founder of the Czech project .pepper..field.

For most companies, corporate gifts are a business card that they present to their partners and employees.?How did the Czech project .pepper..field manage to conquer Europe with Kampot pepper in the field of B2B gifting?

Presenting gifts to corporate customers and partners is already a traditional form of thanking for mutual cooperation.?However, every year many companies must solve the question of what to give to the other party so that the gift has a real useful value and does not become just another useless artifact in the collection that just collects dust.

The .pepper..field brand is the first direct importer of the rare Kampot pepper, which has been sourcing directly from Cambodian farms under fair trade conditions since 2018. The pepper, which is comparable to Champagne with its PGI status, is unique in its taste and rarity.



In short, it is scarce and few people know how to export it from a country like Cambodia.

The young Czech founders, however, looked at a completely new segment and category, which they themselves created, with different eyes.?They took the most valuable raw material of its kind in the world, wrapped it in local sustainable Czech materials, luxurious gift sets and handcrafted boxes.?

They began to collect global awards for the taste of the products and prizes in the field of sustainability.?They prepare tailor-made packages for companies. Each of their corporate gifts is taken care of by only one person in the company, which ensures maximum care.?A healthy foundation that every company will appreciate.

Businesses are coming back

During the first years, smaller companies started to order from .pepper..field.?They were enchanted by the Czech glass that the company uses in combination with a unique product that few people have.?However, professionalism and a special approach to smaller companies helped the first medium-sized companies, and today, also thanks to the company Zásilkovna, .pepper..field delivers corporate gifts in various language to approximately 15 countries in Europe.

"In addition to complete personalization and a customized logo, we add certifications and the Pepper Story brochure, which we have in several language versions, to all corporate gifts.?Thanks to this, we are able to provide a unique and hand-wrapped gift to several countries of the world for multinational corporations.?Our biggest clients are now banks, insurance companies, construction companies, IT companies and law firms.?Thanks to Zásilkovna, we can also react very flexibly, and when our large client needed to send several thousand packages to 15 countries around the world last year, it was no problem for us,"

explains founder Klára Dohnalová.?

The .pepper..field project thus very quickly became a sought-after partner and responds flexibly to the special requirements of companies.

"For the companies that return to us every year, we prepare new tailor-made packages each time - not only with pepper.?At the time of covid-19, we prepared a large package for one construction company, where we sewed their own masks with a logo or received a limited edition of .pepper..gin from us.?The next year we produced a barbecue edition for the company with .pepper..beer and their branded apron, etc. Our goal is to deepen the relationship with these companies so that they like to come back to us every year for something new.?We are definitely not just a company with pepper."
