We are human, NOT super human!

Contrary to popular belief, I do not wear my pants on the outside of my trousers. I am not a Superwoman, nor could I claim the accolade of Supermum...I am just ME, Alex Beardsley...Pleased to meet you!

One of our values at ABL Business is;

We are human; not super human.

And this is something that I have to remind myself and my team members on a regular basis. Unfortunately, we live in a world whereby everybody seems to be a hero, everybody seems to be going that extra mile, everybody seems to be getting everything right.

Well, I just want to let all you people know that over here we're just concentrating on doing our best. This means that on occasion we will get things wrong, we will miss things, we will 'drop the ball'. But that doesn't mean that we are bad people...It means that we are human!

We don't want things to go wrong, we try our very best every day to get things right. But I have learned over the years that you can't please all of the people all of the time, but you can be nice and polite and try and make good out of a difficult situation.

The next time you are really annoyed with something in business, or you think that things could have gone that bit better; just remember that behind every corporate facade is a human, and not just one often there are many.
