We honor all men and women who have served our country this weekend.
This Memorial Day weekend please take the time to remember all men and women who have served and fought for our country. I want to pay tribute to my Dad, Sergeant First Class Lee J Pizzati who fought in WWII - honorably discharged on October 22, 1945. This plaque in his memory, is proudly displayed in my home.

9 年So sorry Gary. I didn't know that your dad had passed. He was a great man, and I loved him dearly.

9 年Great tribute to your father! Your comments and memorabilia show your respect and admiration not only for your Dad but for all service men and women. My dad and uncle served in Korea; my uncle gave the ultimate sacrifice. Many generations have defended the freedoms we enjoy.

9 年in my opinion, we should every day, all day, all month all year and for a lifetime have a memorial day to those who served in the past, the present and those who will serve in the future.....those who do and will preserve our freedoms

9 年Bruce is right. We should honor all who serve all of the time, but Mem Day is for those who paid the ultimate price for freedom

9 年Actually it is for all those that gave their lives in the line of duty. Veterans Day is for all that served!
