As we hit another milestone..

What started with a scan and search feature, has now evolved a bunch of features, some as an extension to search and some totally new. And a lot more is in store for the future.

I so clearly remember the excitement and astonishment I had when the first time the app had scanned an invoice, identified the GSTIN (a unique identifier for every business registered under GST) on it and displayed the details. Even to a person (that’s me) who is aware of APIs, AI-ML and that anything is possible with technology, it still was a magical moment.

It was a powerful feature and to be honest, I wasn’t even sure how useful it would be. And now when I saw Peridot scanning a QR code from e-invoice, the excitement still was the same (though I try to not make it so obvious) but the mind raced to think of its utility. And that’s what Peridot has done to me.

Another profound impact was from the overwhelming response to the survey we had conducted for Peridot. Each and every feedback indicated how Peridot is impacting their lives and easing their tasks. And just not that, it also highlighted the responsibility that we carry towards our users and directly and indirectly towards our nation and nation-building.

Once a Peridot user, always a Peridot user.

That’s our motto, for anything and everything we do in Peridot.

As we launched the Beta version of Peridot, I couldn’t help but reminisce the Peridot journey, or more apt would be to say My Peridot journey. Yes, it is just an app but with every milestone that it has achieved in terms of its utility, users, expectations and all, I too have progressed. And the learning is not limited to product development or subject knowledge. It is far deeper.
