We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Supply Chain Manager to join their team and elevate their supply chain operations to new heights.


Position Summary:


The Supply Chain Manager will oversee and manage the end-to-end supply chain operations for our client's food products. This includes procurement, production planning, inventory management, logistics, and distribution. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supply chain management, excellent analytical skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.


Duties and Responsibilities:


Supplier Management:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers.
  • Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality.
  • Monitor supplier performance and implement improvements as necessary.


Production Planning:

  • Coordinate with production teams to develop and maintain production schedules.
  • Ensure that raw materials and products are available to meet production demands.
  • Monitor production processes and adjust schedules as needed to optimize efficiency.


Inventory Management:

  • Oversee inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels of raw materials, products, and finished goods.
  • Implement inventory control procedures to minimize waste and reduce costs.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies.


Logistics and Distribution:

  • Manage logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution.
  • Optimize transportation routes and methods to reduce costs and improve delivery times.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.


Demand Forecasting and Planning:

  • Utilize data analysis and market trends to forecast demand for food products.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to align supply chain activities with business objectives.
  • Implement demand planning strategies to mitigate risks and manage fluctuations.


Continuous Improvement:

  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in supply chain operations.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and drive initiatives to achieve targets.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and innovations to keep the supply chain competitive.


Requirements & Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain management, preferably in the food or retail sector.
  • Strong knowledge of supply chain processes, including procurement, production planning, inventory management, logistics, and distribution.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
