We are hiring a Supply Chain Manager at Beverage Sector

Overview:

As a recruitment company, we are looking for a Supply Chain Manager for our client, who owns the franchise for beverage companies such as Coca-Cola, Schweppes, and others in Libya. Our client is a prominent player in the beverage industry, committed to delivering high-quality products to their customers. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Supply Chain Manager to join their team and drive their supply chain operations to new heights.

Position Summary:

The Supply Chain Manager will oversee and manage the end-to-end supply chain operations for our client's beverage products. This includes procurement, production planning, inventory management, logistics, and distribution. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supply chain management, excellent analytical skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers.
• Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality.
• Monitor supplier performance and implement improvements as necessary.
• Coordinate with production teams to develop and maintain production schedules.
• Ensure that raw materials and ingredients are available to meet production demands.
• Monitor production processes and adjust schedules as needed to optimize efficiency.
• Oversee inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels of raw materials, ingredients, and finished products.
• Implement inventory control procedures to minimize waste and reduce costs.
• Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies.
• Manage logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution.
• Optimize transportation routes and methods to reduce costs and improve delivery times.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
• Utilize data analysis and market trends to forecast demand for beverage products.
• Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to align supply chain activities with business objectives.
• Implement demand planning strategies to mitigate risks and manage fluctuations.
• Continuous Improvement:
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in supply chain operations.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and drive initiatives to achieve targets.
• Stay updated on industry trends and innovations to keep the supply chain competitive.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain management, preferably in the beverage or food industry.
• Strong knowledge of supply chain processes, including procurement, production planning, inventory management, logistics, and distribution.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
