Roles and Responsibilities

• Work with the Technical Product Owner and Tech Lead to define and expand the teams roadmap
• Expediting the migration of our VMWare-based application stack to AWS
• Platform deployment automation improvements
• Automate tasks to minimise downtime, and improve consistency
• Cloud cost-optimizations
• Extending our APM and Infrastructure Monitoring
• Work with CI/CD pipeline for our application stack?
• Manage security, system capacity, configuration, and upgrades

Required?Skills:?

• Excellent communication/presentation skills
• Hands-on experience with:?AWS, Terraform, Shell Scripting, Python, Docker, Kubernetes, Linux platform, GIT, Bit-Bucket, Jenkins, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack
• Good to have: ArgoCD, Packer, Rancher, Vault
• IAC tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Packer, Chef and/or Ansible.
• A broad range of AWS services.
• Hybrid and multi-cloud environments?
• Docker and related container orchestration tools such as ECS, Nomad, K8S.
• Good understanding of Linux or Windows internals and experience with shell scripting (bash/sh/Powershell)
