About the Role:

As an Application architect you will oversee the design and development of software applications. You will?collaborate on application design with internal stakeholders and application development teams, implement?and monitor application development stages, and document application development processes. You will be?consulting with senior business managers on application requirements, incorporating desired functionalities?into application development plans, and supervising application development stages.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Hands-on technical role, open for understanding / debugging the architecture, design and?implementation of the current applications and suggest changes wherever applicable
• Pro-actively setup reviews for architecture, design and code. Design future-proof architecture.
• Provide guidance to engineering teams during implementation and deployment.
• Work with Agile development teams.
• Pair with the dev members to solve critical issues.
• Apply GoF Design patterns and SOLID design principles
• Establish benchmarks, standards, techniques and mechanisms for defining, measuring, and?optimizing non-functional requirements.
• Review and compare architectures and designs for various solutions
• Determine feasibility of various software solutions and perform proof of concepts as needed
• Conduct research on software and prototypes to evaluate tools and technologies needed

Skills and Qualifications:

• Good communication skills (written, verbal, presentation and listening) and mentoring skills
• Experience with Agile software development methodology and working with distributed?development teams preferably worked in Jira tool
• Experience with web technologies Java, AWS, MySQL, JavaScript, etc.
• Previous working experience in software design and development
• Deep understanding of SaaS, AWS Cloud and building scalable applications.
• Must have a broad technical background, spanning multiple areas, including multi-tenant SaaS?products, UI/UX simplification, Cloud services, secure software (OWASP) development, Agile?methodologies and DevOps, data & behavioural analytics, machine learning, data engineering?and product architecture.
• Strong knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
• Hands-on experience in managing releases, production environments and cloud operations.
• Mandatory work experience in skills sets: REST API, DBMS (SQL, MySQL)
• Bachelors in computer science, engineering or relevant field, MS preferred.
