When I was growing up I didn't like Martin Luther King as a teen. There were protest and violence at my high school. We fought back and were arrested and hurt. As an adult I saw "RAGTIme" the movie and realized something I didn't know before and don't think most people realized either. This movie was the real America then and now! I saw it 12 times then I realized that every human being must decide what is worth dying for to give their life meaning. Dr. King knew that and that was his primary message to the world. We are here for a purpose greater than ourselves. Each one of us must discover that purpose to have a meaningful life. But most of us won't because for far too many it does matter. When you discover your purpose in life it creates a drive like nothing else for that person and sometimes those around them..
