Datacenter onboarding lowered from 3 weeks to just 7 hours

Our client is a IaaS startup whose business revolves around enabling AI for any datacenter. They wanted to compete in the major leagues and had all the weapons to do so except one, the onboarding process took as long as 3 weeks which delayed their progress. That’s where we come in. We helped them reduce their onboarding time significantly through AI which enabled them to achieve their vision of being at par or in some cases even ahead of the market leaders.

 Until sometime before, several datacenters existed which provided the same services in essence and their main point of differentiation was their speed, infrastructure, etc. Now, since players like Amazon, Azure and Google Cloud have entered the market, things have taken a turn. These players offer 360-degree experience by providing services like managing the database, deploying the website, etc. Basically, all DevOps operations. Because of this, more and more people have started opting for services such as AWS to ease the task.

Our client had a unique model to compete with them. They provided a software infrastructure. They went to datacenters who provided them with their software as a service and they used this to compete with the likes of AWS.

 How do they do that?

Company X needs to enable a data center for themselves, so they approach our client. Our client noted down all the requirements and fed them to their system. Now, a data center person approaches our client or vice-versa and our client specifies the requirement that they have which are along the lines of the number of servers, the infrastructure, etc.

If the requirements are fulfilled, the onboarding process starts as soon as the data center provides us with the aforementioned through an automated bot.

We have automated the complete onboarding process. The requirements of the companies are already fed to our systems. As soon as a data center provides us with the requirements, the onboarding process begins for which we have developed a bot. Our automated bot starts installing the required software on your system and once they are installed, it makes the system go-live.

Due to our efficient and smart implementation of AI, our client has been able to compete with the likes of Amazon with ease. We are trying to democratize all AI algorithms, for example like an algorithm for COVID drug discovery.

The major problem that our client was facing was of onboarding a data center especially because it was 100% manual work. We automated this process for them. Now, all they need is to feed the basic details to the system and the rest is done by our automated bot. The onboarding process is now done with minimal manual intervention. This has helped bring down the total time for the process from 3 weeks to just 7 hours.
