We have a CHOICE in life - what Choices are you making?

We have a CHOICE in life - what Choices are you making?

Our perception shapes our reality.

When we are young, our hearts and minds are open to everything in the world around us. We are willing to try new adventures, we dream of becoming an astronaut, a pilot, a teacher, a doctor, a professional basketball player and many other great things. We are willing to fall down, scrape our knees, get hurt and then pick ourselves back up and shake off the dust and keep moving forward. So what happens as we age? Why does our perception of the world around us change from being our oyster - filled with potential and unlimited potential to often living our lives in a "box" and comfort zone that doesn't allow us to grow and stretch? We age and we become filled with the burden of responsibility and we feel that the potential to dream and go after what we desire most in life is gone due to this burden of responsibility. We shape our reality in a radius of not many miles - shopping at the same grocery stores, buying the same foods, getting gas for our cars at the same place and when we examine it, our footprint on the world and consequently, our impact - becomes quite small. We are creatures of habit and often those habits are not serving us. We fuel our bodies with FAST foods, FAST ways of living and really EMPTY choices on a daily basis. If we think about it, we live a life of convenience rather than a life of choice and we feel that this way of living is the only answer as we don't have TIME to dedicate to ourselves or the dreams we had in our not too distant past when we were the young child with all of those hopes and dreams.

So what is the answer? Where do we go from here? Is there a choice we can make to change our perception of the world from being a small box that we HAVE to live in due to the burden of responsibilities, or are we destined to just live life as we know it, day to day doing the things we HAVE to do, rather than the things we WANT to do? Of course, we have a CHOICE. We can choose to look at life a different way, through different lenses and we can choose to change our perception of the world around us. The world can shift back to that time when we were young and filled with idealism and wonder of every single new endeavour if we choose to see all of the opportunities around us. We can choose to be positive and approach each day with an open heart and mind to see where the day takes us. We can choose to not let the naysayers, the negative people and the haters drag us down, but to surround ourselves with those who life us up and inspire us to be better, bigger and stronger today than we were yesterday. We can choose a community and culture of support and personal growth and we can seek opportunities in the realms of our lives that fuel our passions and purpose rather than the mundane, boring components of our daily grind. We can choose to fill our hearts and souls with those we love, cherish and want to help by leading a life of service to others, because as we help others, in turn abundance comes to us. When we help enough people get what they want and deserve in life, we ultimately get what we want in life as well. We can choose to not feel that we need to be the only person that can get things done - but to delegate and draw on the strengths of those in our teams and those around us rather than focusing on our weaknesses. When we leverage the strengths of others and we speak to ourselves in a loving, respectful frame of mind, more work can be done and everyone is happier as a result. We can choose happiness, to express our gratitude for all of the wonderful things we do have in our lives and giving of ourselves to society in a greater path to purposeful living.

I challenge you to change your perception of the world around you. To take a look at what you LOVE about your life, and to find that inner child who is still there inside, just dying to be heard. Don't suppress your wonder of the world around you any more because of that burden of responsibility. Find your path of purpose and live into your light and energy on a daily basis.

Yours in health and abundance,

I think the more we can "Thank" the "Universe" for abundance and gratefulness, the more our perceptions change! How? By bringing, surrounding and radiating happiness into our life's being! I really believe you can see things definitely in a different perspective or perspectives!
