If you thrive in a fast-paced construction environment, are detail oriented, and can think 10 steps ahead, we want you to join our growing company as a Project Manager/Site Supervisor!

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of relevant and hands on supervisory experience within the construction industry and is able to work effectively with all stakeholders (employees, contractors/sub-trades, suppliers, clients, owners) and has a desire to learn more and grow within the company.

Our ideal candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day activities and safety at a project site. S/He works closely with our management team and trades to ensure a project is completed on time and within budget. Typical work hours are Monday-Friday - up to 44 hours per week and requires a valid G Class License as well as a personal vehicle.


A Background reference is required prior to offer.


RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Scheduling and coordinating sub-trades as well as helping to define the project schedule
  • Supervising and coordinating the tasks and activities of sub contractors
  • Monitoring and enforcing site safety
  • Monitoring the schedule and reporting progress to the owner(s)
  • Ensuring quality control
  • Ordering materials and coordinating deliveries
  • Attending site meetings as required
  • Conducting pre-delivery inspections
  • General labour and assistance to the project
  • Ensuring job sites are kept tidy

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE:

  • Computer literacy? - we use a sophisticated construction software
  • Solid knowledge of construction trades and specifications
  • Well-versed with Ontario building codes
  • Able to understand and interpret drawings and specifications
  • Understanding of a construction project lifecycle
  • Exceptional attention to detail and communication skills
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
  • Demonstrated organizational and time-management skills
  • Able to effectively prioritize, delegate, and supervise work

Job Type: Full-time

Salary Range: $60,000 - $75,000 per year based on experience


REQUIREMENTS:

Education:

  • Secondary School (minimum)

Experience:

  • Hands on Construction industry Supervisory/Project Management: 3 years (minimum)
  • Scheduling & Coordination of Subtrades: 2 years (minimum)

Licence/Certification:

  • G class drivers license & personal vehicle (required)
