We Are Exposing Authors and Building Readers

If you haven't heard, South Carolina Gets Lit is the new author show giving visibility to authors and building readers. Not only is this a show, but it is also a literacy program. Together they are doing important things.

South Carolina Gets Lit is working with the Florence, SC school district. We are gathering books to read to the children (donations from state agencies and more). We are partnering with other community organizations and doing what we can to bring awareness to the illiteracy problem among our children.

We aired the first episode of the show on Sunday (Shows on the 2nd & 4th Sundays at 6pm EST).

South Carolina Gets Lit is a marketing platform for authors as well. Your small investment goes to support the literacy program. We need rental space, reading materials, office equipment, desks, chairs, computers and peripheral accessories. We are working hard to impact these children to help them grasp the techniques, concepts, and strategies to read well.
