we don’t use flickering lights

Light is about sight and insight.
When the sun sets, your home’s lighting enables you to engage with the thing you’re still trying to accomplish (and eventually the way to bed).
When you take an evening stroll outside, you rely on street lights to see the path away from (and back to) home.
When a cartoon character finally sees how to address a difficult challenge, it’s not unusual for a bright lightbulb to materialize over their head (Dictionary.com has a name for these clever thoughts or plans: “bright ideas”).
We prefer to line our homes, streets, minds and even cartoon characters with stable light (the kind that doesn’t blink). Flickering lights are not welcome because we can’t trust, stand, or make sense of their show the way-withdraw-repeat tendencies.
If you want to inspire a movement or any kind of meaningful action by shedding light on an important problem, do not interlace the work you share with “this is a way forward” and “I’m not sure”.
We don’t use (or comprehend) flickering lights.
