We don't need you, Small-LNG

 Pink Floyd once sang "We don't need no education" (link), and every week we get someone to tell us that they don't need us to talk to this or that Ship Owner or to learn about the market. They claim that that part is easy, so why would they need a broker to talk to someone they already know? Or to learn about a market as small as this?   Right after that comes the but: "But maybe you can come with more innovative ideas" or "But we need ... " or something similar.   It is always difficult for consultants and brokers to explain why they are needed by people that are not normally using them. A good way to explain it is by comparing it to used cars. Imagine that you have to buy a car and you go to a second-hand car dealer. You are probably doing a negotiation like this once or twice in your life. But that salesman in front of you is doing it ten or twenty times a day. Who has an edge ? Are you sure you can negotiate a good deal with him/her without any help?  Well, we are the help. We are sure that you know everything and that you are a great negotiator, but unless you have experience in this market, you need help.
