In the end you can always tell. You always know who cares about you.

You can just feel it.

When you feel it, you will run through walls for them.

Those are the leaders we all need and want to follow.

When security and appreciation are felt, your performance improves. That is why the best leaders know how to build trust and drive results.

Courage is the ability to act in the face of fear, doubt, and pain. There will always be uncertainty. There will always be confidence issues. There will always be struggles. Those who act anyway are acting with courage. The best leaders inspire the most courage.

Some leaders are visionaries. Some are value creators. Some just execute strategy extremely well. No matter what type of leader you are or want to be the best leaders are experts in a few simple things.

The best leaders do not force loyalty; they are experts who earn trust daily.

The best leaders inspire consistent loyalty. They are winners who helps others win.

You cannot win in today’s global market without a problem and people centric approach. They go hand in hand.

The 3 types of expert the world needs you to become:

  1. You must become an expert at understanding people.
  2. You must become an expert at understanding and solving problems.
  3. You must become an expert at understanding all the inter-related processes of the first two.

Becoming an expert in these areas is an exercise in futility. It is a never-ending process. It is a journey, not a destination. Once you think you have arrived, you know you have failed.

Everyday work on becoming a better expert in understanding people, in solving problems, and connecting the people and the problems and your leaderships skills will continue to grow.

 The best leaders who care and inspire courage are constantly learning.

Learning can come in many forms. Learning only happens when you take the time to reflect. You must either reflect on your own experiences or the experiences of others. This practical application can come in the form of conversations, journaling, meditating, group sessions, or reading. The more you take time to reflect on experiences the more you will learn.

You have the potential to become a better a leader. It is up to you if you want become an expert and inspire courage. You can do it. You are stronger than you think.
