We don't need 'angels' to replace Donald Trump, we need a break from psychopaths as presumed leaders. A distinction which cannot be forgotten

One of my best friends was despondent yesterday finding out about an appointment Joe Biden was on the verge of making which seemed to be endorsing a questionable underling.

I have one comment, which is see the forest from the trees

Donald Trump is such a psychopath that the report out is that he knew full well of a Conavirus PANDEMIC in CONUS but that he suppressed the public knowing of it it solely to enhance his reelection. As I have said before, he could care less if his MAGA rallies act as Typhoid Mary style enablers of mega death, but only wishes to enhance his chances of not facing charges for when his POTUS term ends

This is a level of psychopathology only seen when Hitler ordered the scorched Earth destruction of German civilian facilities as the Allies advanced into the Third Reich in 1945, which lead to Albert Speer and others countermanding insane directives to spare their country being turned into a wasteland.

As I told my friend, CHARACTER, i.e. human character is, in a time of crisis and is memorable in its own right.

Regardless of if Joe Biden is an "angel" or not, regardless if a questionable underling is advanced, the fact is this

A. We are in the process of rebuilding from the worst burst of psychopathology ever seen in the American nation, bar none.

B. Trump is potentially a civilization ending phenomena, and not a candidate for anything other than the mad house

C. Rebuilding from A, and B above does not need "angels" as replacements

Yes Biden will be the next POTUS. Yes , questionable appointments will be made, but if there is an end to this reign of abject madness, and a re affirmation that a break from descent into civilizational ending psychosis is made, THAT IN ITSELF is worth celebrating.

It will take years to dig out from Donald Trump. Yes, we will be disappointed, but Germany after 1945 made its break from psychosis, and so can we, the American people , and consign Donald Trump to the madhouse he so richly deserves.

Rebuild people. Rebuild and do not let angst at the carnage take one thing from your eyes. We can celebrate the end of abject psychopathology as the norm, and reaffirm the human spirit.
