We don't do Christmas cards

Don’t get me wrong I’m no Scrooge but for businesses I don’t see the point of Christmas cards. Of course I’ll be giving family and friends cards, it’s just I find it a little odd when I get a card from everyone at Company X, where team members you’ve never interacted with have signed the card. Even worse are cards with pre-printed signatures – where the festive spirit in that?
So rather than sending cards, I give to charity. Personally, I think the money which would be used for Christmas cards can do much more good in the hands of a worthy cause than with a card manufacturer.
The charity which strikes a chord with me is Leeds based homeless charity Simon on the Streets. I’ve supported them in various ways over the years and this Christmas will be no different.
Simon on the Streets Christmas Prize Draw 2016
Simon on the Streets have organised a Christmas Prize Draw this year and I have donated an Amazon ‘Echo Dot’ as a prize. As well as a prize, I’m also selling tickets for the draw.
Businesses right across Leeds have donated some great prizes to support this fantastic charity, click here to see the full list.
It would be great if you could help me support Simon on the Streets at this crucial part of the year for people who don’t have a roof over their heads. If you would like to join me and loads of other businesses by donating a gift for the draw, or if you’d like to donate, please visit the Simon on the Streets website.
