Kathy Robinson The robbers are able to get into your home because the dead bolt is in wood and not steel. So you must place a 3 to 4 foot long, 2 inch wide and 1/4 or less thick piece of steel in your door frame. the dead bolt will go through the wood but it can't go through the steel. This will prevent them from entering your home. you can do this all through your home but you must have solid core doors to start! It will add an extra layer of protection to you home.
