Sexual Assault.
?Are we dealing with it? And, if not, what can we do to deal with it?
Australian statistics are pretty dire. And the answer to such a multi-layered question might depend on whether you or your loved ones might benefit.
?Stepping up to pave the way forward might not be comfortable, but it’s necessary.?
And yet so many people - even those who want the answer - look away from the issue of sexual assault, perhaps… because they think it’s all too hard.?
But, what if it’s not…?
If we continue on our current path, current evidence and statistics tells us that we can look forward to more of the same.
?More rapes.
More child molestation.?
More sexual harassment.
?More lives destroyed.
More families torn apart.?
More broken people.
And sadly… more of people continuing to bury their head in the sand and scream “too hard!”
And the evidence of that is that after all the recent marching, the cries for change, the media frenzy…nothing has changed.
And nothing will change, because there’s nothing in place to create the right change.
The answers do exist, we as a society and as individuals - just need to ask the right questions.
In my book, Insight: Up Close and Personal Profile of Sexual Assault, these answers can be found.
Information that is easy to read, based on real experience.

Isn’t it time to do something proactive and protect yourself and your loved ones?

3 年Great article Michelle Sleight. It’s a shame that you’ve had to write about this but I’m clad you’re carrying the torch and rattling some cages.
