We Are ...
We Are…
In a perfect world, there would be no wars or famine or even cultural indifference's. The echoes of a child crying in the night would not fill the ears of those around, and the heartache that comes from a broken heart would be no more. Internal emptiness, pain, suffering, and even the stench of injustice would fall to the wayside, much like water from an overflown pitcher.
But we don’t live in a perfect world. Instead, it is a place filled with a mixture of goodness and evil. A land where terrible things happen to good people and the ruling elite seem to take no notice as the atrocities caused by the few, upon the many are inflicted upon them. No matter where we live in this world, there will always be a trail of victims. Lives will be broken, and tears will fall.
Such is the case of parental abduction and alienation. Acts so egregious that it defies any goodness that we are meant to show one another. Instead of demonstrating the need of both parents in a child’s life, one parent will choose to hurt the other in the most effective way possible, and this is through the child. In doing so, they understand all too well the damage and pain that will be inflicted.
As long as we allow our present system of governments to turn a blind eye in what is happening to both innocent parents and children alike, there will be broken bonds, suffering, and heartache, which will litter our path. A parent will struggle with the emotional roller coaster for which they have been set upon and our children will be left with feelings of abandonment. Both will shed tears on this very night.
When we allow people who are willing to hurt others for the sake of fulfilling their own insidious desire of vindictiveness or greed or any other wrongful reason, we will see a continuing of victims. There shall be no shortage of mothers and fathers or their children who will suffer in consequence of these actions. Just as there will be no slowing in the countless numbers of these offenders willing to do harm.
Perhaps, though it need not be this way. Maybe, there is a way to minimize what is happening and take our tilted world and make it right side again. This is when we, as a collective people, awaken from our slumber and understand that the nightmare we are living need not continue. It is a realm that no parent nor, a child should ever be made to endure.
An awakening must take place that allows for the opening of eyes before we can expect any semblance of justice to be served. All peoples must be in a place of awareness that the problems of which so many people have and are facing is real and does exist on every corner of our planet. We are not alone. The truth is, we are many and make up an army of silent victims.
We come from all walks of life. We live in the city and in the countryside. We are shopkeepers and factory workers, farmers, doctors and lawyers, even the rich and famous. We are Christians, Muslims, agnostic, and every form of belief. There is no distinction of who we are. We are the ones who surround you and yet, suffer needlessly because of alienation from our children.
We, the wronged, must make our elected officials and the judges know that we are here and we are not going away. In fact, our numbers are growing, and our ranks are swelling, as they continue to allow our rights as parents to be stolen away from us. They have the power to stop the abuse. To end the suffering to so many parents and their children. To make right, that which is wrong.
We are hurting, and we are…
