FACTS:

1- We proudly have in possession all the licenses and permits for deforestation that are needed to advance this project and begin the work without any interference since 1998. We also have the blessings of the government in every aspect, with all their incentives for foreign investments, as long as we conform to new forest regulations, which we approve. We have access to 60+ concessions per year, at 5000 hectares per concession here in Cameroon, and offers of concessions from Congo and African Central Republic.

2- Forestry regulations have evolved a lot since we started, and we now need to exist as an autonomous company, with its own equipment and significant financial means, allowing us to use our own forestry licenses and permits. Although government deforestation permits were stopped in 1998, wood farming and harvesting projects of any kind, with permits, are now not allowed without this pre-requisite of being autonomous. The export of wooden logs is prohibited and companies must now be ISO certified with geolocation. There is no DIY, everything is carefully controlled and monitored. There are social specifications and also competition, this is why all aspects must be planned and provisioned. This is actually a good thing, since it has basically stopped uncontrolled deforestation by non-conformant operators.

3- We have several companies/investors that have already validated a few of our projects, and have agreed to finance it, they accept the partnership and they intend to buy all the wood we produce at the prices that we have set for them. But to finalize these projects we must first be stablished as an autonomous company. This is the only way we are allowed to use our permits and licenses. There is very little risk, you can call it non-existent, but we need to engage in communication to fully understand what we mean by non-existent.
