We Are Crushing The Mental Health Stigma but What Happens When People Seeking Care Cannot Get It?

Only the rich can afford or get access to mental health care.
Or someone may have great insurance and even better luck finding a therapist who's the right fit, style and experience to bring true healing. The rest won't heal and the inequality gap between the wealthy and poor will only widen.
That's the reality.
We continue to move down the road to ending stigma toward seeking mental health support, but there's a much more daunting path in actually being able to increase access to effective mental health services in the most at-risk and underserved areas.
You know by now my passion for mental health.
I have found so much healing in recent years. I am lucky. I have wealth.
But too many do not. I am chair of the Cheatcode Foundation with the mission to bring excellence in healing into communities. Cheatcode does this via plugging into existing community organizations or pillars and giving them the tools and approaches to bring true healing. This way it's not one-and-done; it creates true change that will live on within that community.

Do me a favor and watch this really quickly to understand more. If you do care to help bring change, there are over 250 people on our waiting list to receive therapy. Those people have made the decision to seek care for all kinds of needs. They are from underserved communities that cannot afford access to mental health treatment. Every donation you make helps more people from those communities go to therapy.?
This #GivingTuesday help us increase access to mental health resources for those who need it most. Donate to The Cheatcode Foundation at thecheatcode.org to help move individuals off our waitlists and allow them to work towards transformational healing.?Even a small donation goes a long way.
The Cheatcode Foundation is a California nonprofit public benefit corporation operating through a fiscal sponsorship with Players’ Philanthropy Fund (FTID# 27-6601178). All contributions are tax-deductible.
Thank you sincerely,
Jimmy
