We control our own universe

From time to time that thought comes to mind, until I dismiss it as obviously ridiculous because that would mean that everyone and everything is a figment of my own mind and that is a dangerous delusion. The problem of hard solipsism continues unresolved but since I have no choice but to respond to what I see as reality as though it is not a figment of my own mind, the question appears to be moot. After all, if we meet and I don’t respond to you as you present, as a real and separate entity, things don’t go as well as if I do. The same comes for descending stairs and virtually everything else I encounter.
Most of the feelings come from our thought's. Thoughts come from our memory, memory from knowledge and knowledge from experience. If you really wanna know who create the world around you, you should pay attention to your experiences and not the feeling. Although doing so, a new capability will come to your attention (maybe you meant that feeling when you mentioned) a feeling but its called intuition. It can help to be a real creator of the reality you live in.
You are right that we control our universe and create the world around us but only to a certain degree. We should always know that we haven't created the world because if we had, then we would create it exactly to fit to our wishes and since we didn't that's why we have to adapt ourselves to it. All universe exists for humans but not vice-versa… all mystics through ages could say, that Nature and everything around is perfect… for developing of human consciousness… the real purpose of all Creation.
Don't think my sphere of influence extends to the size of the Universe but we do affect a certain region around ourselves. Except for the imponderables we are masters of our spheres and just need to flex if imponderables turn up. “In Einstein’s vision, the universe is like an organism in which each part is the manifestation of the whole” (Synchronicity: The Bridge Between Matter and Mind p 76). This appears similar to Aristotle’s “whole” and “parts,” Schopenhauer’s “The ONE” and “the many.”

A rare good Roman Emperor, Marcus Aurelius used this “interrelationship” between the “whole” and “the parts” to rule is kingdoms so that the different cultures with different religious beliefs did not go ape on each other.“’A good terminology’, someone said, ‘is half the game.’ To get away from the traditional misuse of the words ‘whole’ and ‘part’, one is compelled to operate with such awkward terms as ‘sub-whole’, or ‘part-whole’, sub-structures’, ‘sub skills’, ‘sub-assemblies’, and so forth. To avoid these jarring expressions, I proposed, some years ago, a new term to designate those Janus-faced entities on the intermediate levels of any hierarchy, which can be described either as wholes or parts, depending on the way you look at them from ‘below’ or from ‘above’. The term I proposed as the ‘holon’, from the Greek holos = whole, with the suffix on, which, as in proton or neutron, suggests a particle or part.” (Janus: A Summing Up p 33).
We can see this same “complimentary opposite” with “ME” and “US.”If we were actually controlling the objective universe, we would have to be aware of Kant’s Maxim, “behave as if every detail of thought, word, deed, act and spectacle were a universal law.” This of course is extremely difficult because how can one control the whimsical and uncontrolled thought patterns? If we our thoughts reflexed the universe, that would mean that others would be impacted, sometimes for their benefit, other times not so fortunate when it comes to the universe bowing and beckoning to your wants.
I think it is more like the “mirroring” in that you put yourself into a position where the “light” shines upon your mental and physical whereabouts and it appears that the external presentations of the surrounding world are synthesized for your circumstances. This would mean that you should have many “synchronicities,” in which they can range from “acknowledging,” “affirming,” “guiding,” “protecting,” “spoon feeding you,” “rewarding,” or “admonishing” and “pushing you around,” in order to align your mortal lower case self with your Upper Case immortal Self, your “nucleus,” (Soul). Cheers!
