Over on Instagram we're building a community of creators from all corners of the globe: podcast hosts with a passion for their content and an interest in shaping the future of the industry.

Every month we check in with them to get a (not super scientific) picture of how their podcasting is going and what their experience of the industry is. Yes we know we're no Edison, we'll leave the big numbers to the pros - but here's what we learnt in February...

How do creators feel about podcasting? Optimistic 63%, OK 34% and Not Sure 3%

?? Promotion ain't no fun
Creators want to make their audience: Learn 62%, Laugh 22%, Relax 11%, Cry 5%

What's the biggest challenge to creators? Funding 36%, Promotion 33%, Finding Time 17%, Confidence 14%
