Today is the 29th day of July. The 29th day of our 31 days of July challenge where we learn a new habit or new skill each day to live a better life.
As we have gone through this month, we have discussed many ways to make a difference in our individual lives.
However, some of the most important skills we can focus on are those that help change the lives of others around us.
Many years ago, I learned a saying from one of my mentors.
"We cannot change the world, but what we can do is change someone's whole world, and that is all that counts."
This can be done in so many ways.
We can change someone's whole world by being a friend when everyone else has turned away.
By being an ear when they have something to say.
By saying hi to them when we pass in the hall.
By so many things that seem small to us, but can change the course of a life to them.
These are all simple, yet very meaningful things that can help make someones whole day that much better!

If we want to get more focused, we can look at larger things.
We can volunteer our time helping those in a time of need.
By spending our career helping those going through financial transitions.
By helping them navigate a tough time in their life.
By so many things that can help change someone's whole world for the better.
So do the thing that CAN have an impact in someone's life and see just how much that impact makes life even more meaningful to you.
