We can rebuild him!

I was in hospital last week for a cataract operation and steroid implant.

I contracted something called Eales Disease a few years back – a rare inflammatory disorder which affects the back of your eye, and over the years I’ve had all sorts of work done on it; from laser surgery through to numerous injections into the eye itself. (Sorry if that makes you wince!)

While those interventions have papered over the cracks, they’ve also had the negative impact of making my eye even less effective over the past year.

Hence the operation. To be honest, going in for the op I felt rather like ‘The Bionic Man’ and I could tell the doctors and nurses (amazing people – thank you to them, in the new state-of-the-art Stratford Hospital) felt the same, just about restraining themselves from uttering the immortal words “We can rebuild him”!

Rebuild me they did, and I’m back now and ready for challenges to close this year and those to come in 2021 – my 21st year of brandology at Moo Design.

Next year promises us much – the vaccine gives us a whole lot to be cheerful about, and as we rebuild from the wreckage, it’s vital we get our focus clear, and ensure we’ve got those goals set ready to make the most of the opportunities that 2021 will offer us.
