We Can Be Loving and We Can Be Kind

We can build a dynamic and highly successful business and have great success.

We can do all of that and much more when the components of love and kindness are present. You can love the people you work with... it's okay. I give you permission to love and care about those around you in the work place. It's not taboo it's human. We can accomplish much more collectively when we come from a place of harmony. I understand that many would think the mere mention of the word love is pollyanna and while I've never met Elanor Porter's ingenue, will surmise that in 1913 it was a worthy novel. First thoughts could conjure up many uncomfortable associations; such as, If I allow myself to care, I could perceived as being weak or not stalwart? Yes, you could be perceived as being either or a myriad of other negative descriptors. Or you might just be seen as being a balanced human who can manage many things in your career astoundingly well while also adding additional value? To think the that the word love does not belong in the work place is in my humble opinion- part of the problem. We should love the people we work with. Let's remember to reach out to one another to make connections and most of all to actually care. We can still be competitive, agile, driven and highly functioning while still caring.
