What a year this was! I loved the energy, the buzz…I love the increased opportunities that come with more students. Mostly, I love that many more students and families were recipients of the education they deserved.
At the beginning of this school year, we professed We Can. And we did.
Infinite grains of sand were worked to form the most beautiful sculptures.?
A canvas was turned into a work of art.
A beautiful chapter in their story was written.

Many players, with particular talents, worked a combination of notes to create a symphony that was every student's educational experience.???
And so, we have 400 happy, confident, and self-actualizing students taking the next step in their educational journeys. These are well-equipped with enhanced academic and personal skills to be the best versions of themselves.?
And we could not be more proud of our 24 amazing graduates that will be bringing in the next phase of their life, ready to pay the ultimate compliment to the school, their parents, and themselves by making the most of their Currey Ingram experience, beyond the boundaries of our beautiful campus.
But by no means are we resting on our laurels; with the exponential growth of AI, school safety concerns, economic uncertainty, and workforce challenges, we need to be ever more vigilant to ensure that CIA remains a leader in the education world.
In response to what the future will demand, we are working hard on a facility and program called the IDEA Center.?
The IDEA Center is a space that facilitates a wide array of technology and arts options for students. It is a program that very intentionally places 21st Century workforce readiness, inquiry, and collaboration front and center. It is a program and place for students K-12. This program will be designed, like we have done for 55 years, specifically for students with learning differences. We are having conversations about how to make the IDEA Center a reality and if you would like to be involved, please let me know.
The end of a school year brings out the nostalgia in me. I am to the point in my tenure at Currey Ingram that I can “remember when.” Remember when that graduate was in 3rd grade? Oh yes! Now she is going to her first choice college with lots of scholarship money in hand! Wow!?
That happened because parents, faculty, and coaches conveyed to the student that She Can.
