We Can Do Better.

I had a good friend killed by gun violence.  This was just over 10-years ago, and since that time, tens of thousands more have been senselessly killed because of inaction by our elected officials.  Our state elected officials have the most crucial role when it comes to preventing gun violence.  They can either stop it from happening with rational laws or continue to let people like my friend suffer the consequences. 

I am angry about the epidemic of gun violence in this country and know you must be too.  Every month there is another mass shooting and elected officials are trying to blame anything except for guns. 

Try telling a victim of gun violence's loved one that you are going to do nothing because the NRA will not let you.  While you are at it, make sure to tell the thousands of men, women, and children that you cannot do anything because the NRA will not let you.

Enough is enough.  We are so much better than this. 

I will fight for stronger gun laws until my last breath.  No matter the cost to get legislation passed, you better believe I will be a strong advocate for swift action. 

Here is the thing, I cannot do it alone and need your support to fight for rational policies.  Because I do not want to look at another grieving family in the eyes and say I did not do anything to save other kids from losing their parents or loved ones, unlike other elected officials. 

Pitch in and join the fight with me, your support will go a long way in fighting the epidemic of gun violence in America.  I promise with all my heart, and in honor of all those who suffered from this epidemic to fight for gun policies that make sense and save lives.
