This week, our newsletter is about Clear Communication & Pure Listening, inspired by our CEO's post: "My Proust's Madeleine is The Ultimate Crumb. Jeanmarie wouldn't be part of Advize without it."

Her grandmother would drink coffee with her after breakfast, lunch, and certainly after dinner with a "little piece of cake" or "nice cookie" (after each meal). They would talk about people, places, things—everything. Topics that seemed like nothing but completely taught her everything. JM's grandmother taught her the importance of listening to others and caring about what makes them tick.

Earlier this week, during our team Yoga Session with Chia, we shared an excerpt from Melody Beattie's book "Journey to the Heart," which we summarized below:

"Are You Ready, Willing, and Able?"

Decide what you want and be clear about it. Express your desires and share them with others. Regularly ask yourself if you are ready, willing, and able to do what it takes to achieve your goals. Identify and overcome internal obstacles such as fears and resistance. Continuously clear these blocks until your path is unobstructed and your vision is strong and clear.

By fostering clear communication and pure listening within our team, we create an environment where empathy and understanding flourish. These principles not only enhance our internal culture but also empower us to better serve our clients and partners.
