A study came out today that states scientifically that the vaccinated can share the delta variant just as quickly as those who are not vaccinated.
This is common knowledge but now it’s proven. Also no one has caught covid outside, our health minster stated that. So, although you are very frustrated with everything it is now proven that we are neither the problem nor the solution.
Today though I went to my first anti lockdown march. At first with a small group of people my age. As we walked to where the march was supposed to be we met others, and I wondered if this handful of people would be it, but then, in front of us a river of protesters passed.?
As we entered this group it was heart-warming. They cheered as we joined them. We greeted each other and the conversation was the same.
Can you believe this is Australia?
And the crowd was diverse, many races, all ages but lots of young people and all of them demanding what should be their right, freedom. But these people were angry. Many told me this was their first ever rally but something just had to be done.
Now since the lockdown was in place, most of the shops were closed and the streets were empty, meaning there was little reason for the police to interact with us.
That said the police also showed great restraint, and in many of their eyes, and their eyes is all you could see due to the masks, was a troubled look.?

They were Australians too.?
No cars were burned, no windows were broken, a few young lads, with fire in their belly got arrested.
The officer with the weapon, and I don’t know what it was, some said a BB gun, some said rubber bullets, he was a concern. And I never thought in my lifetime that I’d be looking at an officer holding a weapon on me as I called, I am an Australian, I am not the enemy. ???
So who wasn’t there? Any mainstream media or politicians, or at least I didn’t see them.
Personally, the diverse crowd filled me with pride, if you think things have gone too far then you are not alone and sadly this is not over. And these people are your children or fighting for your children, and while the issues might be divisive I say again, we are not your enemy, and not the problem.
