I wanted to put down on paper some questions I've heard executives asking over the last few months about AI and its impact on the enterprise. Are these valid or are they missing something? Tell us what you think.
- Security/ Privacy/ Risk: Does your company have the right data security, risk, privacy and user infrastructure in place to support your AI program?
- Data Quality/ Management/ Governance: Does your company have a good data quality/ management and governance program to support this program?
- Legacy Systems: Can they keep up or be adapted for a new frontier of technology or will they be left behind?
- Intellectual Property: How can you protect your intellectual property, products, etc. and prevent copying and/or plagiarism?
- Customer Experience: Will AI offer the same level of customer experience to your clients?
- Productivity: Will your AI program improve productivity, efficiency and profitability?
- Employee Training & Morale: Does AI help or hurt the morale of your current employees? Do you need to update or adapt their skillsets or are they the rock on which you build?
- Talent & Recruitment: How easy is it to recruit for new talent with the skillsets you need to move the company forward?
- Marketing: Does this give you an edge over your competition and add to your value proposition? If so, how?
- Timelines: Is your leadership giving you accurate and achievable timelines for project roll outs, programs or improvements?
