It's time to think differently about hospitality recruitment!
Labaik Allahuma Labaik
“I respond to your call O’ Allah (SWT)”
As we head into the Islamic month of Dhul Hijjah, this is the sacred chant which will be heard all across the holy city of Mecca as an estimated 2.5 million Muslims arrive within its confines to perform the sacred rite of Hajj – the pilgrimage to Mecca.
Instituted as one of the 5 pillars of Islam, Hajj is an obligatory religious duty for all Muslims capable of performing it and is expected to commence on June 14th and run until July 19th, ending with the second of the annual Eids known as Eid as Adha which runs for 3 or 4 days.
Hajj is an unprecedented time for self-reflection, giving of charity and reestablishing a connection not only with the divine, but also with humanity, drawing as it does, pilgrims from every continent and country on Earth.
As a hospitality experience, hosting close to 3 million people over less than a week is no small achievement and Organic Recruitment wish everyone a blessed Hajj and Eid.
