The We-are-HR September Newsletter
Dear Readers,
How was your Month of September?
At We-are-HR we have had a busy September enrolling all our new learners onto programmes, we take our learner onboarding process seriously as all new Learners are required to complete a Skills Scan documenting their existing experience within the People Profession and we use this to score them against the assessment criteria’s. This process ensures that every learner is on the correct programme and has a clear pathway to develop within our centre!
We also regularly quality assure our programmes and after a successful round of September CIPD Moderation processes; we are all very happy with the feedback from our learners.
As our business grows so do our Team Members! We are excited to share with you our newest member of the We-are-HR family: Tobi Oludipe.
Tobi is a Politics and International Relations graduate. Having worked in the Creative Producing Team for the Commonwealth Games 2022, she is confident in her ability to organise and meet demands within a tight deadline.
She is dedicated to providing Learners with exceptional and unique support so that everything runs smoothly and is always available to lend a listening ear. Tobi is happy to help with any queries that you may have so please feel free to reach out!
We have been busy attending a few career shows and notably will be present at the London Careers fair, if you would like to find out more about our qualifications and how they can help you on your career path, please join us on Friday 3rd November from 10 am to 2 pm at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
On the solutions side of the business, we have been busy networking at the HR Independents Event in London and connecting with other like-minded HR professionals.
One quote I reflected on was “to see good in all things”, this sometimes gets diluted when you are focussing on the things that have not gone well. As HR professionals we should try our best to ensure that our managers praise the small things outside of those persistent KPIs.
A client that I worked with, always likes to praise his employees 3 times a day for the good things they are doing in the business, he believes that this positively drives performance.
On that note, it’s the time of the year when organisations are starting to complete Performance Reviews. At We-are-HR we ensure that our Performance Reviews are linked to our mission, vision, and values and we have creatively ensured that these are transparent and that all employee's objectives are linked to these. Here are our values and I am very happy to confirm that our employees are engaged and actively contributing to these.
If you are a growing organisation and you require more clarity around performance reviews, performance expectations, and appraisals that can assist you in establishing a clear link between individual and organisational performance, then please get in contact!
We have created some exciting tools to help with developing and implementing a framework. We have ensured that our tools have balanced detail with flexibility and are fully inclusive!
