Dear Reader,

How was your Month of May?

At We-are-HR, we had a busy month focussing on our new learners in the Level 3 and Level 5 programme, ensuring that they have been embedded into the programme with access to our dynamic systems.

They all had their Skill Scans completed, and all understand their starting points on their HR Journey, fully aware of the exciting journey ahead of them!

We are passionate about our Learner’s achievements and couldn’t be more over the moon to have celebrated with our Learner Andreea Raus, who won the ‘Learner Achievement Award’ for her hard work on the Level 3 programme.

We have received yet another glowing Testimony from our Learners:

On the Solutions side of the business, we have been busy designing bespoke ‘Management’ and ‘Smart Working Training’ alongside assisting with the recruitment of a Head of HR, for a large organization!

We also managed to fit in our Monthly May Podcast, and this was on Diversity and Inclusion where we were joined by two special guests:

  • How to promote D&I within the workplace
  • D&I strategies
  • Valuing difference - what does this mean?
  • How to manage resistance to D&I

The key points raised were about the existence of white privilege, the power of connection, and that organizations need to offer more inclusive practices. I loved some of the real examples from Chris and Samantha, both approached the topic of D&I very differently. At We-are-HR, we aim to be inclusive in our practices and we are keen to grow inclusivity within the HR profession.
