We Are All In This Together

We are living in strange, unusual, unpredictable, chaotic, divisive, and less than courteous times. For adults it can be overwhelming and depressing but, for all of the children who are witnessing what's happening on a daily basis now, it can be quite scary and can induce tremendous fear that this is what the world is all about. It's just so unreal what we are all seeing and hearing everyday now. As one person, it's not the easiest to always be so upbeat and positive when you see what's going on around you, what's happening to us, what we are doing to each other...here and around the world. Yet, I truly believe, together we are stronger, we are better. Humans were made to be together. We are communal. So, I will continue to do whatever I can in my career and in my life to bring people together. To offer some positive reinforcement, a helpful hand, a reassuring shoulder. It's what I do and who I am. Know no other way. There ARE good people out there. Even though at times it may seem like goodness is becoming extinct. The good are strong. They work to unite, to understand, to ease, to care. Living kindly is not a weakness, it's a strength. For if it were not for the good, the world would have ended a long time ago. May we all find the good that exists in our troubled world and in our lives and shine a massive bright light on it. And don't let that light go out.......ever.
