We all love Technology, right?
Kevin Bull
Throughout my life I have always worked on the basis that everything happens for a reason and it's easier to apologise than to ask permission
Me personally, I 'fell in' to the Industrial Electronic Component sector in the early 90's
Back then, working for a Distributor, specialising in Opto-Electronic and E-Mech products
All quite boring for an 18 year old, wet behind the ears, lad
But, it was a job
Luckily, since then, my views and opinions have matured along with my age
I can honestly say, it has been the making of me
In 2000, and because of my prior years experience and knowledgebase, I was asked to take responsibility for an under-focused, under-performing Opto-Electronic and E-Mech product portfolio
Below, a 25 year old me, still with no hair and a lot slimmer...
This role really opened me up to and gave me exposure to many interesting companies and people
Working for a very, forward thinking, leading Specialist Technology company
And with the advancements in Integrated Circuits (IC's) and Microcontroller/Microprocessors
We started to see the birth of many new tech start-up companies all around the world, US - Silicone Valley, Scandinavia and other parts of Europe, including the UK of course
Introducing REAL, revolutionary High-Tech solutions, such as..
Innovations that have help transform our lives over the past 20 years?
Me, being in Technology for 30 years and being a Dad of 2 teenage daughters

Without it, they would be doing what I did, and many of us of a certain age did growing up
I now find myself doing the classic parent thing, and what my parents did to me
Telling them 'You don't know how lucky you are'
They just shrug it off, same as I did growing up
I honestly, would not anything about my childhood
Back then I loved doing all these things, but...
30 years on, I am extremely proud of the 'miniscule' part I have played in the Technological Revolution, I have lived and worked through and still do
So, are you Technophile or Technophobe??
It really does not matter, nobody is judging you
The fact is, Technology is in all our lives, all of the time, and we all use it and all need it
So, regardless, we are all embracing it
Personally, as a natural enthusiast and still working in the Technology sector
I am really proud and excited to be supporting in the next big advancements
I hope you are too
