We All Fall Short of His Glory/Throw Down Your Rock, Bobie!!
?If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. If we claim we have not sinned, we make him out to be a liar and his word is not in us (1 John 1:8)
It appears nothing has changed since the days of the Mosaic doctrines. The "Holy Roller or Pharisedic Syndrum," remains in our contemporary age. Many charismatic organizations hold to a religious and legalistic doctrine that, if followed, can destroy the very fabric of Christianity.
Jesus hates religion and legalism. When the Pharisees and town Jews brought the woman caught in the act of adultery, Jesus showed them why they should "work out their salvation with fear and trembling" (Philippians 2:12).
The "Rock Throwers" had to lay down their stones and "take off like a jet." They were full of sin while exposing a woman Jesus would not condemn.
Of course, they hated Him because of his forgiveness and love doctrine-a doctrine that says, "None is righteous, no not one" (Romans 3:10).
How soon we forget, that, it's only by His "grace" that we are saved through our "faith" in my Daddy, Jesus (Ephesians 2:8).
Throw Down Your Rock, Bobie!!! Judge not, lest thou be judged!
