We All Fall Back Sometimes

When we are in an unresourceful state, we tend to revert and slip back into old patterns.
This could be old patterns of thinking, behaving, feeling, old coping patterns, and any other tendencies.
It's as if an older part of you completely takes over, rendering you helpless and in a complete state of not being in control.
When this happens, the greatest way to find cope is to take a step away, and recenter yourself; deep breaths, meditation, positive self-talk, a message from a friend or a previous message you've written yourself when in a more functional state.
These things happen, and pretty frequently. And it's okay when they do, the key is not to judge yourself, but to learn from them when they happen.
